MAASTRICHT SCIENCE PROGRAMME STUDENTS

PROJECT PERIOD JANUARY 2024

We are students aspiring to become scientists within the Maastricht Science Programme and have undertaken a 3000-level course focused on the hazards of space radiation on Mars. Our objective involves investigating both current and suggested solutions and innovating new approaches to address the radiation risk during the journey to Mars and throughout the period of settlement on the planet. This task demands a multidisciplinary perspective, requiring creative solutions that extend beyond conventional Earth-bound thinking.
